Twelve communities from Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, and Hungary are ogranized within the 29.10.2004 established EVGE in Cologne – Eur9oäische Vereinigung der Gemeinschaften zur Zertifizierung von Entsorgungsfachbetrieben (European Federation of Associations for certification of Specialised Waste Mangement Companies).
Further national associations within Europe are interested in a membership.
The members of the EVGE profess a high quality standard for waste management facilitiy.
An essential basis for each case of nationally executed vertifications is the Closed Substance Cycle an Waste Management Act (Kreislaufwirtschafts- und Abfallgesetz) within Germany. In Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary and the Slovak Republic according requisitions based on the individual national conditions and prerequisites have been issued.
Several thousand EVGE associations-certified sites support their desire to develop the high and compatible standards within this sector throughout Europe: a successful certification for waste management facilities by an accredited national association.
